According to its twitter profile, National Orientation Agency (NOA) was established by Nigerian government with the mandate of enlightening Nigerians on Government policies, programmes and activities.Mike Omeri, who doubles as DG of NOA and Co-ordinator, National Information Centre, recently told journalists that efforts of officers and men of Nigeria’s defence forces as well as the police and the Department of State Service, DSS, in rescuing the abducted Chibok school girls were yielding positive result.
National Orientation Agency has been posting on twitter images of Nigerian Military inside Sambisa forest searching for the kidnapped Chibok girls. Over 200 Chibok school girls who were abducted by Boko Haram 42 days are believed to be held deep inside Sambisa forest.
