In Nigeria, Over 200 girls were recently kidnapped, hundreds to thousands of civilians and soldiers have lost their lives due to the activities of the dreaded Boko Haram sect.

Currently what majority of us do is politicize the whole situation. All we do is play the blame game, Everyone blaming each other but themselves. All we do is give the terrorist what they want, which is Relevance.

All we do is make the sponsors of this terrorist rejoice in the fact that their money is well spent. Yes we need to Bring back our Girls, but what happens when they take more girls.

The fact is we are focusing our energy on the effect of the problem, not the root cause of the problem.

The root cause is that some people benefit from the chaos of this nation, Some politicians, the extremist, the religious fanatics, the boko-haram sympathizers.

The root cause is boko haram is still alive and their ideology is spreading in the minds of jobless and uneducated youths.








We are letting them divide this nation along ethnic and religious lines.

Irrespective of what you think about the whole Abducted girls saga. Terrorism is like cancer that can eat up the stability of a nation if taken for granted. Irrespective or where we are from, Hausa Igbo, or Yoruba, North West East or South, Christian or Muslim, this is a collective problem we must face together before it converts Nigeria to another Iraq.

It’s high time we stop been puppets in the hands of the propagandist machine of these politicians and stand together to look for ways, collectively as a nation to defeat Terrorism and kick them out of this nation for good.

Through positive propaganda, constructive criticisms of the government’s strategy, and coming up with ideas and solution to this issue.

We should hold our religious leaders responsible asking them what are they doing to prevent our youths from becoming fanatics, what are they doing to spread what the pure and undiluted Islam teaches.

They should openly declare their non support for Boko haram. We should call out our politicians up north, down south in West and East urging them to put aside their differences and lend their voice and intellect to fight this Boko haram issue. Blaming each other or cook up conspiracy theories will do more damage than good.

We should ask our govt what are they doing in clear terms to fight Boko haram. We should ask the police what are they doing to keep Nigerian’s safe. The Customs & Immigration what are they doing to keep our borders safe and less porous. The SSS what are doing to gather the necessary intelligence needed to combat them.

This is no time to insult the office of the presidency, or that of the first lady. The truth is that, there is more to these Insurgents that meets the eyes, tackling them is not as easy as it seems.

This is not a time to incite each other or engage in tribal bigotry. This is time for us to stand United.

There comes a time where we either unite to fight a common threat or be destroyed by this threat for doing nothing. This is that time.

Our soldier are out there in the front-line facing this terrorist. From privileged information I can tell you, that they are doing their best. They’ve lost a number of soldiers due to saboteurs, land mines that’s littered all over sambisa forest, due to surprise attack powered by local informants. They are are facing a faceless enemy.

What matters most is that they are committed to keeping Nigeria safe. Irrespective of their errors in the past. it is important we lend them our support at this crucial moment. let’s cheer them to victory.
